At Wintersgill Associates, we are partnering with AWARE, Airedale and Wharfedale Autism Resource, to carry out a number of fundraising activities across this financial year to raise awareness around children and young adults on the autistic spectrum.

We have been inspired to support AWARE after hearing about its great work in the local community and the support it provides to the affected, and because some of our team have close links with the organisation.

To kick off our fundraising activities, on 10th September, some of our team successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge by doing all three peaks in under 12 hours.

(Emma, Paul and Sue)

Paul Wintersgill did it in an impressive 10 hours 10 minutes, Derek (Wintersgill) did it in 10 hours 40 minutes, Emma Greensmith in 11 hours 58 minutes and Sue Staton in 11 hours 59 minutes! This was to raise funds for our charity partner, AWARE (Airedale and Wharfedale Autism Resource) and we were delighted that we were all able to complete the challenge (albeit at different paces!).

There’s still time to support this worthy cause by donating via the following fundraising page:
